thinks he has what it takes to be a paratrooper, if the stark courage,
the cool nerve, the mental and physical fitness demanded by the job are
inherent characteristics and part and parcel of his make up, he may
volunteer.
He will not be inducted into the
paratroops.
Only volunteers are wanted in either
the United States Army or USMC paratroop battalions.
...but these men must first undergo the
regulation 13 weeks of basic military training required of every
